Our Evening in Stratford

We finished off a wonderful visit to Stratford with a dinner at Essence, a modern English restaurant.  We had a private room where we were served a delicious three-course meal in style.  The food was great and the conversations were wonderful, but everyone started to fade fast...a sign of a thoroughly enjoyable, but exhausting day.  Since we were outdoors for most of the day, we all had rosy faces, which only made us sleepier in the warmth of the restaurant.  Full stomachs didn't help either. :) Dr. Keoshian ended our evening with a wonderful message from God's Word.  He challenged the students to boldly live out their faith.  Using the life of Job as an example, he talked about how we all face challenges and trials in life.  These challenges can often bring the wrong responses from us as we try to deal with those difficulties on our own.  But, Dr. K talked to us about the fact that no matter the difficulty, God is using those trials in our life to bring us and those around us closer to Him.  This became a reminder that the most important thing is that we all know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  He challenged the students with the Gospel message, to not only receive it and follow Christ, but to share it with those they know.  May God use Dr K's words to encourage us as we continue on our trip.
