The Cardinals Are Soaring to England!

On Sunday, April 20th, 35 students, parents, and faculty members will soar off on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to England.  This 10-day literary tour is a jam-packed adventure that allows juniors and seniors to get up close and personal to the lives of the literary figures they have been studying in their literature courses.  Starting off at the parsonage of the Bronte sisters, the tour makes its way through the English countryside, finishing in the exciting, vibrant city of London.  Along the way we visit Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, the city of Bath, and Stonehenge.  Those on the tour will walk the Cotswolds, admire the beauty of cathedrals (including Westminster Abbey which devotes an entire “corner” to memorialize the great writers of Britain), visit Shakespeare’s birthplace (on his 450th birthday!), see a play in the famous theater district of London after spending some time shopping at Harrods, and experience so much more!  Follow our many adventures as we post pictures and blog about each day.  Most importantly, join us in praying for this trip.  Pray specifically that the details for the trip will all come together smoothly; that the students will grow in their knowledge and appreciation of literature (and the literary figures we study on the trip); that there will be opportunities for spiritual growth; and that God will be honored through our time together.
