Day 9 - Monday, April 25th 2016

We were able to sleep in a little this morning, although most of us came to breakfast early as our clocks have been set early all week.  At least it was a leisurely morning which allowed some of us to go out for a bit to explore this bustling, beautiful city one last time. Some went by Uber, taxi or just walked. Others took advantage of the extra time to relax, repack and make sure their luggage was still under the allotted weight limit.

Our bus picked us up a little after noon so we loaded up and were officially on our journey back home.

Uummmm, no we weren't tourists at all!
It was our Abba Father who kept us safe on this trip, it was Jesus who we'd see in paintings and art work, it was God who inspired great cathedrals to be made in His name, it was Emmanuel who is now paving the way to get us back safely to all of you, as we fly across the Atlantic back home. This British literary tour is an incredible blessing. The two women Sandra Wyllie and Deborah Lillenburg go above and beyond for this trip.
Thank You!

We are a blessed school and people to have had this travel opportunity attached to literature, making it come to life. May we continue to grow spiritually and in our knowledge that we are a people called to be as a light. I believe that mission was accomplished in London as it was my prayer before we entered those city gates. Now, onto taking that same light to our homeland.

Friends and family anxiously await our entry from customs

Some were greeted with flowers and posters =)

It's good to be home, but missing our time in England!

Part of the trip was to have some mini portrait sessions of the students while they are on this trip.  Here are some of the portraits taken to commemorate their time here.

Thank you all for your prayers throughout this trip. It was an amazing trip filled with so much more than we could have ever imagined. Besides learning about British Literature, we were able to witness to people, encourage fellow believers serving and living in England, feed the homeless many times, provide warmth by way of a coat to someone in need, witness the engagement of two who are ready to take on this world for Christ, have a greater understanding of who God is, make everlasting friendships with those we have never met or hardly ever talked to before...all in the name of a "field trip".  Well, this was one trip for the books and I will forever smile when I think of the lasting and eternal blessings from God that came from these last 9 days.
